Hi, I’m Alexis (Lexi) Taylor—a multimedia storyteller specializing in creative writing, poetry, and voice performance.

I live at the intersection of words and performance. With a foundational background studying Journalism at UNLV, Creative Writing at Full Sail University, and TV/Screenwriting at UCLA, I understand how stories are built from the page up. This deep training in script analysis and narrative structure doesn't just make me a sharp writer and editor—it gives me the exact tools needed to dissect a script and deliver a nuanced, compelling vocal performance.

Whether you need a manuscript polished or a character brought to life behind the microphone, I bring precision and distinct style to every project.

When I’m not freelance writing or recording, I’m usually playing tabletop RPGs or working on personal projects—because even my breaks from storytelling tend to involve more storytelling.

✍️ CREATIVE WRITING & EDITING

I have a passion for storytelling in all its forms, and have been working studiously as a freelance writer and poet for over five years. Currently, I'm a contributor to the Unraveled Poetry Syndicate in Bayonne, NJ, where I not only write and perform my own original poetry, but also help set up the spotlight for other local artists.

Whether I’m crafting haunting short stories about cryptid creatures, weaving a heart-wrenching poem so prose it borders on pompous, scripting goofy dialogue for a harebrained screenplay, or providing in-depth developmental editing, my work is always driven by my understanding of voice, tone, and atmosphere.

🎙️ VOICE ACTING & AUDIO PRODUCTION:

As an experienced voice performer, I independently write and narrate for a social media platform dedicated to poetry and short stories, while occasionally providing guest narrations for other creative accounts. I also provide voiceover for a long-form YouTube channel, narrating gameplay in a gentle, soothing tone designed to help lull audiences to sleep.

Working out of a dedicated home studio with professional audio gear, I deliver clean, raw file exports with a guaranteed pristine noise floor below -60 dB. I am highly proficient in Audacity for all recording and editing needs.

Character Dialogue: Developing and maintaining distinct voices, accents, and tones for multi-character projects and interactive storytelling.
